Head of the National Anti Doping Association, Dr Adrian Lorde, is on board with the virtual testing of athletes being experimented with by the United States Anti-Doping Association (USADA).

Virtual testing is being used in light of the challenges presented by Covid-19 to the conventional drug testing process.

Lorde said that because of the pandemic, there was suspicion that some athletes might be doping and because of the restrictions it is difficult to do drug testing the traditional way.

With virtual testing, athletes are sent the kits and given instructions via Zoom or FaceTime. He said, however, that the experiment came with some limitations.
