No new COVID-19 cases recorded in Barbados today

The Ministry of Health and Wellness reported today that three more people will be released from isolation today after testing negative for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) twice over a 48-hour period.

The number of recovered people has increased to 30 and the number of people still in isolation has dropped to 40.

According to a statement from the ministry, of the 60 tests performed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday, there were no new positive results.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 remains at 76. Six peope have died as a result of the viral illness. Since testing started in Barbados on February 11, the public health laboratory has conducted 1 222 tests. (BGIS)
