Too many bodies and no space to put them. That is the dilemma of a Barbadian funeral director in New York.

That’s part of the heart-rending picture which Steven LeGall, one of Brooklyn’s leading funeral directors, painted of the crisis he and other funeral directors are facing in New York.

“What’s happening is painful, disturbing and regrettable,” said LeGall, who has been in the funeral service business for more than 40 years. “I have never seen it like this and hope not to experience it again.” (TB)
