Number in isolation falls below 30

There were no new positive cases among the 38 tests for COVID-19 conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday.

Two persons will be released from isolation today after two consecutive negative tests, bringing the number of recovered persons to 46, and reducing the number in isolation to 29.

Eighty-two persons have tested positive for the viral illness since March 16 when the first two cases were diagnosed, and seven deaths have been recorded.

The number of tests completed by the public health laboratory is 2 458. (BGIS)
