Visits by the public to geriatric facilities and the Psychiatric Hospital will continue to be suspended, until further notice.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness explained in a press release today that this was still necessary to protect the vulnerable populations at these institutions.

“We are also recommending the same position continue for private geriatric facilities,” the ministry stated.

The statement said the public would be advised when there is a resumption of visiting hours at these institutions. (BGIS)
