Beach crowds tapering off

The crowds have tapered off at some popular beaches following the lifting of month-long ban last week Monday under COVID-19 restrictions.

At Dover Beach and Accra Beach in Christ Church yesterday morning, the crowds were sparse, though at Brownes Beach in St Michael the numbers were greater.

The “regulars” still turn up daily, happy to have a stroll on the sands, engage in exercise or just have a dip for relaxation or remedial purposes.

Some want the time extended from the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. allowance, but for others that period was just about enough. (RA)
