More American citizens took the opportunity to return home on Friday morning after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had grounded commercial flights.

With assistance from the United States Embassy, about 60 people boarded a special Seaborne Airline/Silver Airways flight to Puerto Rico at 10 a.m.

This was the second time the Embassy facilitated a chartered flight from the Grantley Adams International Airport, since the pandemic began. The first was on April 7. Another flight is scheduled to depart tomorrow at the same time. (TG)
