Govt ‘paying’ for building economy on tourism
The People’s Party for Democracy and Development (PdP) doesn’t see Government’s stimulus plan bringing Barbados out of the COVID-19 crisis.
The party’s lead spokesman on tourism and the economy, Scott Weatherhead, said Government was now paying for putting all its eggs in the tourism basket, which he said has now dropped and broken.

He highlighted the country’s blacklisting by the European Union and the decimation of tourism as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. (BA)
