Experienced racing car driver Roger “The Ninja” Hill is welcoming any new restrictions to competition as he says it is only for a time.
“It is not going to be like this forever and we hope that within the next two months or so we can have some motor sports, even if it be a closed event. It can be an environment that is closed without spectators like how so many different sports are happening nowadays but may be streamed live. That could be a possibility,” he said.
He was speaking to Sun Sport regarding the suspended motorsport season due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Hill pointed out that although he also believed fans were extremely important to motorsport, not having spectators was an option which was both being considered and adopted all across the globe as a way of carrying out sports in a safe manner. (RG)
