Man shot by police during exchange

A man was shot during an exchange of gun fire with police officers around 1:45 p.m. today.

Police say they were carrying out investigation in a bushy area at Waldrond’s Village, Christ Church, when they encountered the man, who was carrying a firearm.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment. (PR/SAT)
