Bid for standard on tobacco advertising

The Barbados National Standards Institution (BNSI) is inviting interested stakeholders to assist with developing the draft CARICOM Regional Standard – Requirements for tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, DCRS 60 document.

The BNSI is inviting stakeholders from industry, government, regulators, academia, labour; consumer, non-governmental and professional organisations; and users of tobacco products, to participate, according to a media statement.

A Regional Technical Committee for Tobacco has been established and will continue work to address comments received on the draft document. Interested people should contact Renate Lynn Sealy at 426-3870, or via email at rsealy@bnsi.com.bb, by Friday, June 19. (BGIS)
