Police are investigating two shooting incidents which occurred on June 7 – one at Country Road and the other at Pioneer Road, Bush Hall, both in St Michael.
In relation to the shooting incident which occurred about 8:20 p.m. in Country Road, St Michael, a statement from police said: “A number of men were reportedly liming outside of a residence at Country Road St Michael, when they were reportedly attacked by a group of men wearing masks.”
According to the statement, two men were injured and were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicles.
With regard to the incident at Pioneer Road, a media statement said police responded to reports of shots being fired around 7:35 p.m. On arrival, officers found a motionless body. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
