More than 40 students from the Frederick Smith Secondary School, the School for the Blind and Deaf and the Mavericks Sports Club will creatively paint on garbage bins, which will then be placed at the schools and in communities around Barbados under a project called Project Love – “Bins fuh Bim”.

Principal of the Frederick Smith Secondary School, Major Michael Boyce, praised the Project Love – “Bins fuh Bim” initiative.

He said the project is an outlet for positive self-expression, which provides a therapeutic avenue through art for students while reminding them of their civic responsibilities to care for the environment.

However, due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the participants will paint the bins at home. (BGIS)
