Local COVID-19 tests still negative

Sixty-one people tested negative for COVID-19 yesterday and the number of cases recorded in Barbados remains at 96.

Except for the four cases diagnosed among Barbadians returning from the United States this week, the island has remained COVID-19 free for the last three weeks.

Six people remain in isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy and 83 of the 96 persons confirmed with the viral illness have recovered.

Seven deaths have been recorded.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has now conducted 6 449 tests. (BGIS)
