Government is being called on to give an account of how much money has been disseminated through the various funds during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

It has come from Democratic Labour Party (DLP) spokesperson on small business and entrepreneurship, Ryan Walters.

He said he and a small team visited nine small businesses in the St Michael North West constituency last Saturday to get a sense of how they had coped during the lockdown, what level of support they received from Government and their plans now that all businesses had been given the green light to reopen.

“It was clear from who we interacted with, I don’t think the infrastructure which the Government used to transmit about the funding or the assistance that was provided, was adequate enough to reach some of these people. (RA)
