Bowlers likely to remain the same

The West Indies four-pronged bowling attack could remain unchanged for the final Test in the historic biosecure series against England which starts tomorrow at the Emirates, Old Trafford.

Amid fitness concerns, assistant coach Roddy Estwick says there are no injury worries within the 15-man squad and veteran fast bowler Shannon Gabriel is likely to retain his place as the tourists seek to keep the Wisden trophy in the Caribbean.

Gabriel who returned to international cricket this month following an ankle injury which kept him sidelined since last September is the most successful bowler for the Windies on this tour with figures of 9-137 in a match-winning performance at Southampton.

But there were doubts about his availability after the 32-year-old paceman along with fellow quick Alzarri Joseph both left the field at intervals during the second test with slight niggles. Gabriel was wicketless at Old Trafford. (AGB)
