Professor The Most Honourable Eudine Barriteau received special recognition today when the auditorium at The Ellerslie School was named in her honour.
Barriteau, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, is a former student of the then Ellerslie Comprehensive School. She entered the Black Rock, St Michael institution on October 24, 1968, two years to the date she migrated from Grenada.
Barriteau said she enjoyed an exciting four years at the school, even joining the debate team, before departing in 1972. (RA)
