Confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) moved to 184 when a 12-year-old Jamaican girl tested positive on arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday on board a Caribbean Airlines flight from Jamaica.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said the child, who has gone into isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy, was accompanied by her mother and sister, who both tested negative.

Meanwhile, four people will leave the isolation facility today, having recovered from the viral illness.

The numbers in isolation have dropped to eight, and recoveries have increased to 169. The tally of confirmed cases is 184, comprising 97 females and 87 males. Seven people have died.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 201 tests yesterday, bringing the total number completed since February 11 to 20 322. (BGIS)
