Fire Service trying to rescue woman from well

A rescue effort to retrieve a woman who fell into a well is underway at Henry’s Lane, St Michael.

Crews from the Barbados Fire Service, Emergency Ambulance Service and the Royal Barbados Police Force are on the scene.

Police say they received the report at the Hastings-Worthing Station around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday. The woman apparently fell into a well in her backyard.

At this time, there is no information on the extent of her injuries.
