Barbados will play Bermuda in one of six first round football ties of next year’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The draw was made on Monday in Miami for the two-round preliminary matchups from July 2 to 6.
The 12 teams will be battling to secure the three remaining spots for the Group Stage, which will kick off four days later and conclude on August 1.
Should Barbados beat Bermuda, they would advance to the second round where they will oppose the winners of the tie between Haiti and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
A second round, triumph will see the Russell Latapy-coached Barbados Tridents joining Martinique and the North American powerhouses Canada and the United States in Group B. (EZS)
