Fogging Schedule October 5 to 9, 2020

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its fogging exercise this week in Christ Church, St Thomas and St Michael.

On Monday, areas to be fogged in St Thomas are Bagatelle Park, Bagatelle Terrace with Avenues, Bennetts, Arch Hall, Arch Hall Development, Rock Hall, Fryer Hill, Rock Hall Tenantry and environs.

On Tuesday, fogging continues in Christ Church in Chancery Lane, Old Chancery Lane, Sunrise Rise, Arawak Road, Park Road, Cassia Drive, Almond Row, Seaview Road, Golden Plover Road, Inch Marlow and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, the team will return to Christ Church, spraying Ealing Park South, Coral Avenue, Paradise Drive, Breedy Land, Hopewell, Round Rock, Silver Sands, Lisbonville Road, Green Garden and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, fogging takes place in the St Michael districts of Station Hill, Belleview Road, Goddings Road, Glendairy Gap, Deanes Village, Bridge Road, School Gap, Flint Hall, Welches Terrace, Government Hill, Brankers Gap, Martinique Road, Gittens Gap and surrounding areas.

And on Friday, they will return to St. Michael to fog Brandons, Holders Land, Bayswater, Birds River, Deacons Road, Deacons Farm, Ashdeane Village, Brighton, Black Rock, Carters Gap, Straker Road, Retreat Terrace and environs.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.

The public is asked to note that the completion of the scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as possible. (BGIS)
