All lifeguard towers will remain closed until 1 p.m., Thursday, October 8.

The National Conservation Commission said in a statement this is necessary for members of the Lifeguard Service to attend an important staff activity.

“Public safety at our beaches remains paramount. As such, we suggest that users schedule swimming activities to coincide with the revised operating hours tomorrow,” the NCC said. (PR)
