A rape accused said yesterday that on the night of the alleged incident he was in the toilet stooling when he was attacked by the complainant.

That was the testimony of the 37-year-old man who is charged with raping a woman 40 years his senior on August 13, 2016.

“She came in like a tiger cat and scratch me across my neck, eye and forehead without saying anything,” he told the nine-member jury and Justice Pamela Beckles in the No. 5 Supreme Court.

He added that he got up off the toilet and punched his room-mate three or four times and she fell in a chair.

“I did not shut the door or go back stooling . . . . My pants and underwear were off and I went on top of her. I hold her by her throat, kneeled down on her and asked her what she was coming around me with,” he said. (RA)
