The Ministry of Health and Wellness said today that a 32-year-old male visitor, who arrived on British Airways on October 9, has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) after a second test.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 366 tests on Thursday. One person will be discharged from the isolation facility today.

Therefore, the number of people in isolation remains at 11, and recoveries have increased to 208. There are now 227 recorded cases. Seven people have died.

Since February 11, the laboratory has conducted 32 740 tests. (BGIS)
