Barbados Water Authority (BWA) crews are today working to fix a ruptured 16-inch main in Highland, St Philip.

As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or outages.

In Christ Church: Charnocks, Pilgrim Road, Coverley, Durants, the Airport, Callenders, Kingsland, Lodge Road, Newton, Lowlands, Balls, Kendal Hill, Montrose, Silver Hill, Wotton, Church Hill, Southern Heights, Parish Land, Harmony Lodge, Maxwell Hill, Fairview, Pilgrim Road, Woodbourne and surrounding areas.

In St Philip: St Martins, Gemswick, Spencers, Oldbury, Mangrove, and surrounding districts.

A media statement said the BWA has dispatched water tankers to assist the affected customers and apologises for the inconvenience these service disruptions has caused. (PR)
