The 27-year-old, who arrived on island via an American Airlines flight on November 16, returned a positive result on the second test. He was asymptomatic, and the only positive case recorded among the 363 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday.

This moves the tally of confirmed cases to 263, comprising 137 females and 126 males.

Meanwhile, one person will leave isolation today, bringing the number of recoveries to 243.  There are currently 13 people in isolation.  The deaths from COVID-19 remain at seven.

To date, the laboratory has conducted 45 623 tests.  (BGIS)
