A 53-year-old man is the latest person to be diagnosed with COVID-19.
He arrived on December 4 via American Airlines, and was asymptomatic. His was the only positive test identified out of the 411 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday.
Confirmed cases now stand at 285, comprising 147 females and 138 males.
Meanwhile, three people will be released from isolation today, bringing the number of recoveries to 260 and those in isolation to 18. The number of deaths remains at seven.
To date, the laboratory has conducted 49 307 tests. (BGIS)
