HIGH TIDE STINGRAYS’ Omari Sealy joined his clubmate Adara Stoddard with a double triumph on Saturday’s fifth day of the Barbados Aquatic Sports Association’s Short Course National Championships at the Aquatic Centre.
Like Stoddard in the Girls’ 13-14 age group, Sealy was similarly dominant in the Boys’ 13-14 category, clocking 1:05.38 minutes in the 100 metres backstroke on his way to victory.
He also took the 50m butterfly in a rapid 27.24 seconds ahead of Storme Collymore in second in a time of 28.52 seconds.
But Collymore won the gruelling 200m breaststroke in 2:36.06 minutes, well ahead of Che Talma in second with a time of 2:50.38 minutes.
Stingrays’ Ethan Roachford was a half-second behind in third place. (NM)
