Brittons New Road impassable

Motorists are advised that a number of utility poles have fallen across the road at Brittons New Road, St Michael, rendering the road impassable.

Motorists are advised to avoid that area. Personnel from the Barbados Light & Power are working to replace the poles and restore electricity in the area.

Reports are that a transformer was damaged in the incident which occurred around 4 p.m. today. (PR)
