A man who was shot and killed on Wednesday has been identified as Tarik Straker, 22, of Long Gap, Spooners Hill, St Michael.

Police are continuing investigations into the unnatural death of Straker, who was killed after 7 o’clock at Headley Land, Bank Hall, St Michael.

Lawmen said they received the anonymous report of loud explosions in the area and that a man had been shot around 7:20 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered Straker lying on an open pasture with several wounds about the body.

Anyone who may have information that can assist with this investigation is asked to contact Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800(TIPS), District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7295 or any police station. (PR)
