AFTER CLOSING TO comply with Government’s most recent COVID-19 protocols, some businesses and services are set to resume today.

Their closures followed Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley’s announcement on December 31 of a new curfew after at least three clusters of the virus had been identified by health officials. She also designated Monday and yesterday as bank holidays to assist with contact tracing.

After suspending beach chair vending on Monday, the National Conservation Commission yesterday said the COVID-19 Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness reversed the decision to temporarily suspend the service.

Vendors and patrons were, however, urged to observe all existing protocols.

Surfside Wellness Centre, Wildey, St Michael said they had to conduct a thorough sanitisation process after they were exposed to COVID-19 late last year. (TG)
