The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) is recalling all police officers who are currently on vacation leave.

They are asked to report to their respective stations, formations or units immediately, said a media release from police spokesman, acting station sergeant Michael Blackman.

Meanwhile, police also advise that the Hastings/Worthing Station has been temporarily closed to conduct contact tracing after an officer there tested positive for COVID-19.

Members of the public are advised to refrain from visiting police stations and should only do so as “a last resort or in emergency cases”. They can also direct calls to emergency number 211 or 4307100. (PR/SAT)
