Health Communications team in place

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley confirmed the acceptance of all members to participate in the new dedicated Health Communications Team she announced on Friday evening.

The fourth member is retired head of the Ministry of Health’s Health Promotion Unit, Denise Carter-Taylor.

Carter-Taylor joins former Minister of Health, Ambassador Elizabeth Thompson; president of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, Dr Lynda Williams; and Communications Specialist, Tyson Henry.

The team’s mission is to streamline and improve communications related to COVID-19 and the national effort to combat and eradicate the virus from the island. (PR)
