Kyle Gale continued his record-breaking form over the weekend in the United States.
The Kansas State University freshman joined an elite club of all-time greats when he clocked an impressive time of 46.26 seconds in the men’s 400-metre dash at the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday in Fayetteville. He shattered Keith Black’s previous record of 46.44 seconds set 24 years ago.
The former St Michael School student and CARIFTA Games medallist later returned to help his team clock a time of 3:11.20 minutes in the 4×400 metre relay.
Last month, Gale blazed to victory in the 300 metres in 34.32 seconds at the Wildcat Indoor Invitational. (AGB)
