Barbados national Under-20 striker Abiola Grant has signed a professional contact with Hungarian club Kolorcity Kazincbarcika Sport Club.

The 18-year former Empire striker left Barbados a month ago on a two-week trial and will now join the European club on a permanent deal.

Grant becomes the second homegrown footballer to turn pro within the past year after Thierry Gale signed with Budapest Honved FC last year. (AGB)
