Social Activist Winston Clarke is confident by the end of today he would have gathered at least 3 000 signatures to his petition against forced taking of the COVID-19 vaccination.

Clarke, who previously set up at Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, was today in Independence Square for those interested in signing the petition against vaccine intimidation.

He reiterated it was not a rally, march or protest, but the Steering Committee of which he is a part, was merely there to allow those interested in signing the petition to do so peacefully.

Clarke said he intended to deliver the petition to Prime Minister Mia Mottley when Parliament resumed after their Easter break.

He also noted the petition was in no way anti-Government or anti-vaccination, but rather pro-choice, as everyone was entitled to exercise their freedom to take or not take the COVID-19 vaccine. (RA)
