There was only one new positive case (a female) of coronavirus (COVID-19) reported on Saturday, April 24, from the 321 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Meanwhile, nine people recovered from the viral illness and were discharged. Currently, 104 people are in isolation.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded, from March 2020, have moved to 3 825 (1 864 women and 1 961 men), while 3 735 people have recovered. Â The death toll from the virus is 44.
Since February last year, the public health laboratory has conducted 151 803 tests.
As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, a total of 72 728 vaccinations – 30 056 men and 42 672 women – have been administered. (BGIS)
