A senior attorney has raised concerns about the transfer of a now 16-year-old boy, accused of murder, from the Government Industrial School (GIS) to HMP Dodds.

Queen’s Counsel Andrew Pilgrim brought the issue to the attention of the No. 4 Supreme Court yesterday.

The boy was a 15-year-old student at the time he was charged in connection with the murder of a student at a secondary school in November 2019.

The boy was remanded to GIS after he had appeared in court.

Yesterday, Pilgrim revealed that the boy, now 16, was transferred to HMP Dodds on Tuesday. (HLE)
