People back in the Port to clear packages

From Monday, people will be able to access the Bridgetown Port to collect their parcels.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy Kirk Humphrey made the announcement yesterday morning during the launch of the Clean and Green Programme in his constituency.

Humphrey acknowledged the complaints of many who stated their parcels were tampered with. However, he said in an effort to reduce such instances, people would once again be allowed into the Port to clear their packages by appointment.

The minister said this would now reduce instances of a third party accessing their parcels before they were received by the rightful owner.  (RA)
