Price increase for some petroleum products

Barbadian consumers will be paying more for some petroleum products effective midnight, Sunday, June 6.

The retail price of gasoline, diesel and kerosene will increase, while the price of liquefied petroleum products (LPG) will decrease, in keeping with the landed price for these products on the international market.

Gasoline will be sold at $3.88, an increase of nine cents; the price of diesel will go up by 16 cents and will cost $3.10, and kerosene will be retailed at $1.29, an increase of nine cents.

The adjusted price of the LPG 100-lb cylinder will be $143.25; the 25-pound cylinder will cost $40.91; the 22-pound cylinder, $36.17, and the 20-pound cylinder, $32.88.

The last price adjustment was May 2. (BGIS)
