No new virus cases

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory did not record any new coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases from the 417 tests conducted on Tuesday, June 8.

There are 22 people in isolation.

The number of recorded coronavirus (COVID-19) cases since March, last year, is 4 032 (1 951 women and 2 081 men), and there have been 47 casualties from the virus.

The public health Laboratory has carried out 174 587 tests since February 2020.

A total of 84 300 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. Additionally, 61 664 people have been inoculated with the second dose of the vaccine and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
