No new virus cases

The 367 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Saturday, June 12, did not identify any new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The number of people in isolation is 15.

To date, confirmed COVID-19 cases have totalled 4 036 – 1952 females and 2 084 males. The death toll from the virus is 47.

The public health laboratory has carried out 176 562 tests since February, last year.

Public health officials have administered 87 382 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of the National Vaccination Programme.

A total of 62 131 people (25 530 males and 36 601 females) have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
