The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) said that most of the pumping stations taken offline by power outages early this morning are now back online.

BWA said in a statement that a few remain offline and this is affecting sections of St Lucy, St Peter, St Andrew, St Joseph and St George where residents may still be experiencing low water pressure or outages.

“Our teams are still working to restore power to the remaining facilities, including the possible use of generators. Water tankers will continue to assist customers in the affected areas in the interim. The BWA thanks the public for their patience and understanding at this time.” (PR)
