The highly-anticipated National Union of Public Workers meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. today at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC), Two Mile Hill, St Michael has not started.

People are waiting outside in a line that is snaking around the LESC building.

The start of the meeting is being delayed as checks have to be done to ensure that membership is paid before people are allowed to enter the building. This is in addition to officials ensuring the protocols related to COVID-19 are followed. (CLM)
