The power outage affecting parts of Barbados will also impact the supply of water to those areas.

The Barbados Water Authority said the outages in some northern, eastern and central parts of the island caused some of its pumping stations in these areas to go offline.

Teams are currently working on the restoration of power, but customers may experience low water pressure or outages.

Water tankers were dispatched to assist residents in the affected areas.  (PR/SAT)
