The man accused of the murder in Sheraton Centre will be back in the High Court in July after he made his first appearance before the Criminal Sessions on Monday.

Hakeem Roberto Stuart, 23, of Shelbourne Gap, St Lawrence, Christ Church, was arraigned with murdering Damian Trotman, of Foursquare, St Philip, on March 21, 2019.

He pleaded not guilty and was represented by Queen’s Counsel Andrew Pilgrim, while Director of Public Prosecutions Donna Babb-Agard QC, and Crown Counsel Danielle Mottley and Romario Straker appeared for the Crown.

Justice Randall Worrell set July 30 as Stuart’s next date before the High Court. (HLE)
