Pan American champion Shane Brathwaite will lead Barbados’ eight-member team to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Among the males, Brathwaite will be joined by sprinter Mario Burke, Quarter miler Jonathan Jones and swimmer Alex Sobers who made his debut at the Rio 2016 Games.
The biggest name for the females is hurdler Tia Adana Belle, a former world youth champion. Sprinters Sada Williams and Tristan Evelyn will also be part of the Barbados contingent.
Top swimmer Danielle Titus rounds out the eight and will be making her debut at the international meet.
