Scores pay respects to Mottley family

Scores of people are gathered at Queen’s Park Steel Shed for the public viewing of the body of Warren Mottley.

The son of Sir Elliott and Lady Mottley and brother of Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley passed away on June 29.

He also leaves to mourn widow Shawn, children Emanuelle Amor and Laurenne Amor.

Among those in attendance include uncle Elombe and wife Donna Scott-Mottley from Jamaica; Dame Billie Miller; his cousin, CARICOM Ambassador David Comissiong; Ann Lady Hewitt, Cheryl Lady Forde, Opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley, members of the Barbados Labour Party, the legal fraternity and the general public.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at St Mary’s Anglican Church, but due to COVID-19 protocols, it will be a private affair, limited to 100 people. (Nation News)
