Two utility poles are damaged and wires are making the road impassable at Gibbs, St Peter as a result of a vehicular accident earlier today.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if they can.

If travelling from the northern areas to Bridgetown, drivers are asked to divert by St Albans Church en route to the Ronald Mapp Highway (2A) and continue.

Similarly, if travelling North from Bridgetown along Highway 1, motorists are advised to divert at Carlton, St James along Rock Dundo on to Highway 2A. (PR/SAT)
