Thief to know penalty tomorrow

Rashad  Kemar Moore will be sentenced for a number of offences tomorrow.

When Moore, 30, of Vauxhall, Christ Church, appeared in the No. 5 Supreme Court on Friday, Justice Pamela Beckles adjourned sentencing.

Moore has pleaded guilty to entering Ixora Restaurant, on January 6, 2018, and stealing a cash tin and $5 000 belonging to the hotel, as well as $900 belonging to Cricket Franchise, while armed with a gun.

He also pleaded guilty to eight counts of discharging a firearm in the restaurant, which placed hotelier and restaurant owner Denis Tull, Barbados Pride manager Wendell Coppin, head coach Andre Coley, as well as David Duff, Carla Jones, Andrea Shepherd, Merville Sealy and Janet Gibson in danger of death or serious bodily harm.
